Virtual Reality Supplemental Treatment

Although VR therapy is in its infancy, it does show great promise.  While continuing to use evidence based treatments, ASAT offers our clients the opportunity to incorporate the latest VR technology for positive behavior change.

Q: Is Virtual Reality dangerous?

A: No. VR is currently used for training and behavior change.


Q: Is there a cost?

A: No.  ASAT uses VR  on a volunteer basis and charges nothing.


Q: Do I need to buy equipment?

A: No. All equipment is supplied by ASAT.


Q: Is VR effective in treating addictions?

A: The treatment is in its infancy and is still being developed.  VR has been proven to help in behavior change.  Methods are improving in the field of addictions treatment.


Q: Where can I get more information?

A: The internet (especially YouTube) has tons of information.  Simply perform a search and investigate the many opportunities VR present
